TREATMENTS

Traditional Chinese Medicine is a millenary medicine practice that aims to bring balance between physical, mental and emotional health through different natural therapies. Utilizing the best of the various modalities of Eastern medicine such as acupuncture, cupping and moxibustion, our team of acupuncturists are able to treat a wide range of conditions including; strains and sprains, circulatory problems, joint pain, muscle injuries, postural correction, nerve related pain, neurological conditions, men and womens health, pregnancy care, and many other conditions.

ACUPUNCTURE

A traditional Chinese Medicine therapy.

The route of bioenergetic movements (Chi) across the body are alternated with soft and small needle insertions or by the application of localized heat (electromagnetic heat lamp) to balance, tone or sedate functions of specific organs. Treatment is performed across the body, targeting specific meridians that often flow through the hands and ears.

ELECTROTHERAPY

Electrotherapy complements the acupuncture theraphy by stimulating the points linked to your symptoms to help restart the flow of Chi. Two needles are placed around the point while a machine delivers an electrical impulse to them.

Electroacupuncture is intended to help increase the potential healing effects of standard acupuncture.

CUPPING

Using state of the art cupping equipment, this traditional therapy has been used to releave chronic muscle pain, improve circulation, promote the release of toxins, improve relaxation, and releave anxiety. Generally used in conjunction with acupuncture to maximise the benefits of the treatment.

CHINESE HERBAL MEDICINE

Moxibustion is a form of heat therapy in which dried plant materials called "moxa" are burned on or very near the surface of the skin. The intention is to warm and invigorate the flow of Chi in the body and dispel certain pathogenic influences.
